I read a while ago that it can take up to 10 yrs for a new medical idea to percolate into clinical practice. Maybe a more engaging method as you describe will not only engage more of the general public but also those within medicine. I believe it'll be your generation to really drive the change. Thanks for starting the process!

I think so too… there’s already data to show sharing studies on twitter increased citations, and that’s likely a proxy for visibility. I think Dr. Glaucomflecken’s work with NEJM would be really interesting to quantify the impact, since it’s already a famous and well read journal… does it still move the needle? My guess is yes.
